Inside Our Dupray Steam Cleaning Process.
-
The Dupray comes in after that initial clean, using the triangular brush and bonnet attachment to steam-sanitize surfaces, blasting away bacteria for a final polish. Inside ovens especially, the steam has proven effective at lifting years of tough, embedded stains and baked-on crust.
-
The precision tool and brush attachments make quick work of shower and floor grout lines, tile, and fixtures where soap scum and mineral buildup tend to collect. We finish by sanitizing the tub and tile with the bonnet attachment, which traps the steam for a higher, more concentrated temperature and an even more powerful clean.
-
Using the dedicated window tool, we achieve a streak-free finish on interior glass, sills, and frames using nothing but steam and a microfiber cloth, no glass cleaner required. This is an especially effective way to lift dust and residue that's built up in window tracks over time.
-
For clients who'd like drapery or window treatments steam-refreshed before moving in, we use the Dupray's fabric attachment to gently deodorize and sanitize curtains in place. This is available on request and is a great way to freshen up window treatments left behind in the space.
-
The floor tool attachment allows us to steam clean hard flooring, tile, sealed hardwood, and laminate lifting ground-in dirt and sanitizing the surface without leaving excess moisture behind. It's a chemical free way to get floors genuinely clean before new owners or tenants move in.
On carpeted areas, the Dupray is output only (it does not extract moisture or debris) from carpeting, it can help loosen minor surface residue and freshen odours, but it is not a substitute for professional carpet shampooing or extraction cleaning.
FAQ
-
A steam cleaner is a cleaning appliance that superheats water to produce dry, superheated steam that contains only 5% water. This steam is then released on demand to clean, detail, refresh, degrease and deodorize almost any surface without using harsh chemicals. It's a very natural way to clean!
-
When steam cleaning, a washable microfiber cloth is attached to the accessory of your choice. This cloth helps the steam reach a higher temperature, retains moisture and picks up the dirt as you go. Just replace the microfiber cloth when it gets saturated by dirt or water.
-
You can refresh and deodorize small carpeted rooms, but it is not a wall-to-wall extractor. They work better as spot cleaners, stain removers and area refreshers.
-
All surfaces are different, but leather, silk, unsealed hardwood floors, and delicate wool rugs are surfaces to be very careful about cleaning. Always verify with the manufacturer for detailed cleaning instructions before booking this service.

High temperatures are bacteria's worst enemy. Bacteria will start to die when exposed to temperatures between 140°F and 165°F. The longer the exposure, the better. Bacteria will die at temperatures above 212°F. Here is the third-party laboratory study conducted using the Neat steam cleaner.
